Nevada Opportunity Scholarships at Risk
New legislation (AB 441) threatens the future of the Opportunity Scholarship Program. This bill was approved in its first Committee on 4/10/2025 and is moving to its second vote soon.
Why is AB 441 harmful? AB 441 introduces instability into the scholarship funding process, adds a layer of unnecessary bureaucracy, and strips away your ability to rely on SGOs (like AAA) to continue to fund your child’s scholarship year after year.
How can you help today? Please contact your elected officials and ask them to vote NO on AB 441. Here is a link to look up the name of your elected officials: https://www.leg.state.nv.us/division/research/library/faq/whichlegislatorrepresents.html
Your voice is critical in stopping this harmful legislation. Please ask your elected officials to vote NO on AB 441. Thank you!

75% scholarship ($5,625) for families with incomes of between 201 and 225 percent of poverty
50% scholarship ($3,750) for families with incomes of between 226 and 250 percent of poverty
25% scholarship ($1,875) for families with incomes of between 251 and 300 percent of poverty
